Job Description:

We are looking for ---a Collections Clerk to join our team in the Downtown Los Angeles Area.

You will be responsible for securing billing payments from your customers.
Responsibilities: Make Collections calls, setup new accounts and make credit decision on new customers, understand the cash receipts process. Understand how to maintain the Aging reports in Excel. Outstanding communications, work well with vendors and internal departments. Meet deadlines, very details oriented, good with maintaining the daily and month AR reporting, credit & debit posting, credit card processing and Account Reconciliations. Find and inform customers about unpaid accounts Receive and post payment to customer's account Advise and follow-up with customers on unpaid accounts Initiate repossession proceedings or disconnect service Keep records and status of customer's account Qualifications: Previous experience in Collections, billing, customer service, or other related fields Ability to build rapport with clients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize and multitask Min. 1 year of Collections (B to B)If you are Eager and motivated to learn the business of Collections - the client will train but you just need 1 year of Collections background!
