Associate to join the Real Estate team in its Los Angeles office.
The Associate will have the opportunity to participate in a wide
range of real estate debt transactions for Oaktree’s Real Estate
Debt strategy. Typical investment opportunities include: new loan
originations across all CRE product types; acquisitions of legacy
loans, CMBS and other forms of public and private debt;
restructurings; recapitalizations. Primary responsibilities
include: Leading execution efforts on underwriting and closing;
Preparing detailed financial modeling; Performing quantitative and
qualitative analysis; Developing and maintaining business and
industry due diligence; Participating in deal structuring, legal
documentation, negotiations and closing; Drafting of memoranda for
internal and external use; Presenting deals at credit committees;
Collaborating with internal parties including equity coverages and
junior resources; Monitoring the performance of existing portfolio
investments. Qualifications 2-3 years’ experience as an analyst or
associate with a top investment bank or real estate investment
fund; Outstanding financial modeling, analytical and presentation
skills; Demonstrated competency in financial statement analysis,
business valuation, accounting and finance. Personal Attributes

honors from a top university or college is required. Base Salary
Range $150,000 In addition to a competitive base salary, you will
be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a
comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement. The
base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or
qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior
