A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school-based services, located in El Monte, CA. This travel position involves working within two distinct school sites, providing comprehensive speech and language services to approximately 90-100 students during the 2025-2026 academic year. The role requires oversight of case management, Individualized Education Program (IEP) updates, and assessments, supporting a team that includes two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapeutic services to students. Manage and update IEP documentation in compliance with educational guidelines. Collaborate with SLPAs and educational staff across two school sites to ensure consistency and quality of services. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and adjust individual treatment plans. Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory and district standards. Desired Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure applicable for school settings. Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school environments. Strong organizational and communication skills to manage case load and coordinate with staff. Ability to travel between two school locations within El Monte, CA. Familiarity with educational laws and IEP processes.
