Job Description Job Description Project Engineer Project Engineer Position Overview The Project Engineer will oversee land development projects from conception through completion, ensuring all facets of the project are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a deep understanding of civil engineering principles within land development. Key Responsibilities Manage the execution of large-scale residential land development (grading, erosion control) projects. Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software for design and drafting purposes. Review progress sets and deliverables for accuracy and conformance to engineering design standards Coordinate with engineers and contractors to ensure project specifications are met. Oversee the permitting process and conduct feasibility studies for proposed projects. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding civil engineering projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development projects. Proficient in AutoCAD software. Strong knowledge of erosion control, grading, storage, and other general civil design principles for land development projects.
