Orange, CA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Position
Overview We are urgently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC
Machine Operator, Setup and Programmer to join our client's team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in aerospace
manufacturing and a deep understanding of CNC process and
equipment. CNC Machine Operator ($25 - $30/hr) - Operate CNC
machines within the factory parameters to produce high quality
parts as directed to meet the customers’ requirements - Load and
off load parts in between cycles and perform various levels of
inspection - Take required part measurements as instructed to
assure Quality Control during the operations stage - Reports any
discrepancies in the required measurements and tolerance to
management. - Prepares each job in accordance with a job order or
verbal/written instructions. - Moves finished products between
stations and shipping area as needed. - Prepares finished products
for shipment in accordance with company procedures. - Operates shop
equipment and machinery in accordance with safety requirements. -
Notifies management of equipment malfunctions, injuries, or related
occurrences. - Performs other related duties as assigned. CNC
Set-up ($30 - $40/hr) Set up CNC mills and lathes according to job
specifications and engineering drawings. Install and align tooling,
fixtures, and workpieces for optimal machining performance. Load
and verify CNC programs; perform dry runs and first-article
inspections Adjust machine parameters and offsets to ensure
dimensional accuracy and surface finish Strong understanding of
tooling, fixturing, and machine operation. Experience with CNC
controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Siemens) CNC Programmer ($40/hr)
Develop and edit CNC programs for mill and lathe machines using CAM
software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM). Interpret
engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine
machining requirements Select appropriate tools, speeds, feeds, and
cutting paths for optimal performance. Set up and operate CNC
machines during prototype and first-run production. Perform test
runs and adjust programs to ensure accuracy and quality Proficiency
