As an Audio and Video Equipment Technician, you will be adding the necessary wiring to new and existing buildings or job sites, installing new equipment per manufacturer guidelines, and advising customers on basic usage of their new equipment, as needed. There will be a variety of different equipment you will find yourself working on, and the ability to terminate wires, climb ladders, and basic wire management are all important skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with new equipment and technology, has excellent communication skills, and has an eye for detail. Responsibilities Travel to various locations to run wires and install new equipment Run wires in new or existing buildings Advise customers on the basic use of their new equipment Follow all best worksite practices and safety guidelines Qualifications Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills The ability to work well under pressure or in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of basic wiring helpful
