Pay Information $225 to $250 per hour About The Position Flexible OB/GYN Hospitalist Assignment in California We have an ongoing locum tenens opportunity for an OB/GYN hospitalist in California. This assignment offers a fantastic chance to create a schedule that fits your life while providing essential coverage at a respected facility. Highlights Flexible schedule. Block scheduling is available for excellent work-life balance Interim assignment with a consistent need through early 2026 Full malpractice insurance coverage provided for the assignment Practice Setting Inpatient coverage at a Level II Trauma Center Focus is on Labor and Delivery services Work alongside a team of MAs and support staff Schedule In-house call coverage Options for 12-hour or 24-hour shifts Fall and winter dates are still available Build a schedule that works around your availability Procedures and Cases Responsible for OB deliveries Manage approximately 10-15 patient encounters per shift Primary focus is on Labor and Delivery cases Requirements Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology Must hold an active California medical license Requires a minimum of 24 months of experience Active BLS and PALS certifications are required Credentialing Requirements Hospital credentialing typically takes 30-60 days to complete Our team provides full support to streamline the process Travel accommodations All travel and lodging arrangements are covered A rental car will be provided for the duration of the assignment I'd be happy to share more details about this opportunity.
