qualified Urgent Care PA in California! About The Position We are
seeking a skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Urgent Care
for a 3-month locum tenens assignment through Barton Associates.
This opportunity is located in California, starting on 12/01/2025.
The ideal candidate will work 8-hour evening shifts, 7 days a week,
in a hospital setting that combines ER and Urgent Care services
(Rapid Care). The PA will be responsible for a wide range of duties
including suturing, laceration repairs, treating sick visits, STDs,
STIs, vaginal discharge, flu, cough, headaches, and fracture
reductions. This role requires comfort with same-day/next-day
appointments and walk-ins in a fast-paced environment. Epic EMR
experience is preferred. Job Details: Location: California Facility

Provide urgent care services in a combined ER/Urgent Care setting •
Perform suturing and laceration repairs • Diagnose and treat
various conditions including STDs, STIs, vaginal discharge, flu,
cough, and headaches • Manage fracture reductions • Handle
same-day/next-day appointments and walk-ins • Utilize Epic EMR
system • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team •
Ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction Additional
Information: • California medical license required • Experience in
ER/Urgent Care settings preferred • Strong communication and time
management skills essential • Ability to work in a fast-paced
