Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: San Pedro, CA Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,415 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in San Pedro, California, 90732! Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse with Charge Experience – Southern California Start Date: March 16, 2026 Location: San Pedro, California Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, weekend coverage as needed Highlights: Charge RN experience required for this 12-bed specialized ICU unit Care for adolescent and adult patients with complex diagnoses including respiratory failure, severe sepsis, stroke, and DKA Work with advanced interventions including CRRT, target temperature management, and vasoactive drip titrations Utilize Meditech charting system with full interdisciplinary support including Pharmacy, RT, PT, and Rapid Response Teams Free parking and flexible scrub color policy Guaranteed hours with minimal call-off (once per two-week pay period) Requirements: Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission) Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required Previous Charge RN experience is mandatory Must have experience in specialized ICUs beyond Medical ICU (Surgical ICU, Trauma ICU, Shock ICU, or Neuro ICU preferred) Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale Proficiency with critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and hemodynamic monitoring Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV sedation, and vasoactive drip titration Two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years Willingness to float to Telemetry and affiliate hospital locations as needed Why It's a Great Opportunity: This leadership role in a 189-bed acute care hospital offers the chance to apply your advanced critical care expertise while mentoring staff and managing complex patient populations.
