Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our dedicated team of professionals in providing end-of-life care and euthanasia services in the comfort of our clients' homes. This role involves working closely with pet owners to offer a dignified and peaceful farewell to their beloved pets. The ideal candidate is someone who combines strong veterinary skills with a deeply empathetic approach to animal care and client service. Conduct home visits to assess the health of pets and determine the need for end-of-life services Administer euthanasia in a compassionate and professional manner Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing emotional support and guidance during the decision-making process Maintain accurate records of patient care and services provided Collaborate with a team of veterinary health professionals to ensure a seamless and dignified experience for families and their pets Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, particularly in the context of palliative and end-of-life care Ability to handle emotional situations with compassion and professionalism Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and making informed decisions under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid veterinary license Certification in euthanasia administration preferred
