hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the
Position Location: Santa Barbara, CA Start Date: 03/09/2026 or
03/23/2026 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 3x12s – Days/Evenings
(9:00 AM – 9:30 PM or 12:00 PM – 12:30 AM) Weekend Requirement:
Every 3rd weekend Call Requirement: Yes (Day & Night call required)
Patient Ratio: 1:2 Travel Experience: Required (No first-time
travelers) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced PACU
Travel RN with strong critical care background and pediatric
anesthesia recovery experience. This unit requires advanced skills
in ventilators, arterial lines, titratable drips, and
post-anesthesia recovery for both adult and pediatric patients.
Requirements Required Qualifications Active California RN License
(In hand at submission) Minimum 2 years PACU experience 1 year ICU
experience OR 2 years ED experience (with vents/lines/drips
proficiency) Pediatric recovery experience
(Infant/Toddler/Adolescent) Experience recovering children under 4
years old Travel experience required Required Certifications BLS
ACLS PALS COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Clinical Skills Required
Critical Care Ventilator management (Adults) Arterial lines & CVP
monitoring Titration of IV drips Dysrhythmia recognition ABG
interpretation Chest tube management PACU & Anesthesia General
anesthesia recovery Post-epidural management Nerve blocks PCA pump
management RASS scoring Pediatric Experience Infant & toddler
general anesthesia recovery PICU post-procedure recovery Management
of comorbid pediatric cases Surgical Case Experience Total Joint
Replacement Bariatric Cardiac (TAVR, Mitra Clip, Watchman,
Ablations) Neuro/Spine Ortho General Surgery (Appendectomy,
Cholecystectomy, Hernia Repair) Urology (Continuous Bladder
Irrigation, Chemo removal from bladder)
