Job Description Staff Today is seeking a local contract Sterile Processing Technician for a local contract job in Torrance, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Sterile Processing Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 16 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days, flexible, on call - Employment Type: Local Contract Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Central Service Tech to work at a facility in Torrance, CA. These are registry positions with our company. Pay Rate: $30 / hour Shift details: - 8 hours - minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed - days weekends and holidays Duties: - Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment - Inspect tools for damage or wear - Package and label items correctly - Maintain sterilization records - Follow safety and infection control procedures Qualifications: - At least 2 years of experience as a Central Service Tech - A valid and current license issued by the State of CA - A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) - Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
