While the firm has the resources and trial experience to successfully litigate cases in court, it is primarily settlement-focused. Their philosophy emphasizes achieving strong, efficient results through skilled negotiation and mediation whenever possible. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Associate Attorney with 6 years of personal injury litigation experience to join their growing team in Downtown Los Angeles. The ideal candidate is a driven litigator ready to take ownership of challenging cases, develop junior team members, and consistently deliver exceptional client results. RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee all phases of litigation, from case initiation through settlement or trial Manage discovery, conduct and defend depositions, draft and argue motions, and represent clients in mediations and court appearances Prepare high-quality legal documents, including complex motions, pleadings, and briefs Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel Work collaboratively with partners, paralegals, and case managers to ensure cases progress efficiently through each stage Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to junior attorneys and support staff Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management while managing multiple active matters QUALIFICATIONS: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience in Personal Injury Strong experience in legal research and writing Strong experience with discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation Proven ability to manage a heavy caseload, generally managing 30–40 active litigation cases, supported by paralegals and junior staff Proven capacity to work independently while contributing effectively to collaborative litigation teams BENEFITS & COMPENSATION: Compensation: $170,000 - $220,000 Plus additional performance commission and bonuses PTO package Paid holidays Medical insurance stipend Dental, vision, and life insurance 401 (k) plan with matching contribution Professional development and trial advancement opportunities Paid parking at the Downtown Los Angeles office LOCATION: Downtown Los Angeles, CA Hybrid work schedule Please note that we at Career Consulting Partners will be sure to keep your information private.
