Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter responsible for
managing a book of business and mentoring a team of
underwriters.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite a GWP $25-40M book of business
Assist in overseeing underwriting functions and collaborate with
business units to enhance performance
Lead and develop a team of underwriters and underwriting assistants
through coaching and engagement
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
7+ years of commercial insurance experience
Professional insurance designations are a plus
Previous management and leadership experience
