A company is looking for a Remote Inpatient Coder - Acute
Care.
Key Responsibilities
Review patient medical records and assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS
codes
Work within clients' EHR and encoder systems to ensure accurate
coding
Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses and
procedures
Required Qualifications
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Certification (CURRENT)
required
3+ years of inpatient coding experience required
Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS required
Experience in Hospital/acute care settings required
Proficiency with EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.)
required
