Culver City, California, United States MarketingDescriptionAPPLE INC has the following available in Culver City, California. Develop advanced analytics projects from conception to completion while supporting the digital advertising function. Develop A/B test experimentation design and analysis as well as multivariate testing. Employ relevant statistical and machine learning method to build predictive models. Develop roadmaps and requirements, identify risks, develop contingency plans, and evaluate impact. Work on Media Mix Model interpretation and follow up. This pertains to developing and building forecasting models across all media channels and partners. Develop cadence reporting for Marketing Lines of Business, including but not limited to Apple Arcade, Music, Books, News, One, TV+, Card, Pay, App Store, Podcast, MLS, Maps, etc., for performance and activation optimizations. Verify Quality Assurance on reporting data sets and automation documentation. Perform statistical analyses and modeling which will require exploratory analyses of the data distributions, hence, estimate probability density and probability mass function; probability density and mass functions are used to assess the data distributions and shifts over time. Work on synthesis and sampling which will enable the creation of synthetic controls to quantify the impact of a marketing strategy. Work on analytical modeling to support priority businesses and the development of tests, and assess the impact of different campaign strategies as well as each individual channel. Develop concise and significant analytic objectives from general business goals. General business goals may include but are not limited to: yearly marketing goals. (For example, 'Improving customer acquisition quality' can be the generic annual goal for marketing but defining metrics to measure 'acquisition quality', setting-up the analytical engineering processes to make the measure available, designing experiments and analyses to optimize quality are considered specific analytical objectives.) Identify new methods and technology to drive growth across cross-vertical portfolio of Apple products. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,000 - $236,300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.PAY & BENEFITS: Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.   • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Business Analytics & Project Management, or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 5 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Using SQL to pull data using custom queries to serve the needs to conduct advanced analytics from an SQL database.
  • Using Python to connect to data sources, clean, transform and build predictive models. Experience in using data science libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, SK-Learn or Keras).
  • Using R to perform statistical analysis including performing data cleaning, transformation & analyses to quantify impact of marketing optimizations.
  • Using Tableau to build regular reports & dashboard with effective visualizations.
  • Using Jupyter to run Python scripts for ad-hoc data analyses. Experience with running Python scripts on Jupyter Notebook or Google Colab, and using Python scripts to automate data exploration activities.
  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Using AWS to read data from S3 buckets and run EC2 or Lambda instances.
  • Using Presto and SQL to pull data from big data systems.Preferred Qualifications
