We are seeking an experienced Biomarker Operations contractor to
ensure the execution of translational study plans, oversee vendors,
and manage biospecimens and data flow. Works closely with
Translational teams to onboard, qualify, and manage vendors.
Communicates priorities and vendor timelines to ensure on-time
delivery of key data. Collaborates with Clinical Operations,
Translational Medicine, Computational Biology, and Data Scientists
to ensure seamless process from central labs to specialty vendors
and Mirador. This role will support global studies across all
clinical phases. Responsibilities Works closely with the
Translational team to select, onboard, contract, and monitor
specialty vendors to ensure appropriate prioritization and delivery
of samples and data. Tracks and communicates company priorities and
vendor timelines across multiple clinical programs. Proactively
identifies and mitigates risks to ensure milestones are met, and
sample/data quality is preserved. Escalates issues in a timely
manner and drives plans for resolution to ensure achievement of
deliverables. Maintains tracker/logs/reports to support visibility
of progress. Reviews translational biomarker plans to provide an
operational feasibility perspective and confirm clarity of intended
processes and procedures. Serves as central point of contact for
the vendor relationship; involves appropriate scientific team
members to resolve technical and operational issues. Oversees
contract negotiation and execution with support from Legal. Ensures
alignment with clinical protocols, lab manuals, and translational
biomarker plans. Ensures inclusion of appropriate quality and
operational measures for successful vendor execution from sample
receipt through data delivery. Liaises with Finance to maintain
oversight of vendor budgets, tracks spend and invoices. Experience
and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or clinically
related field. 8 years or more of experience managing biological
sample flow and omic data transfer logistics in clinical and/or
R&D environments. CRO/vendor management experience, including
prior experience working with central labs, and monitoring of
timelines and budgets. Experience managing biospecimen flow using
LIMS sample management systems and vendors' biospecimen databases.

fast-paced, high accountability environment. Ability to strike a
balance between independent work and team interaction, be a team
player in a cross-functional team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office,
advanced in Excel, and other productivity tools with an aptitude to
learn new software and systems; ability to work with large
databases. Ability to travel up to 25%. $125,000 - $150,000
annualized equivalence. Actual pay will be determined by several
factors such as job-related skills, experience and relevant
education or training. This range may be modified in the future.
